Terms of Service
Last updated: May 2026
Operator
LLM Council (llmcouncil.online) is operated by Kirthi Sagar ("Operator", "we", "us"). By using this service you are entering into a legal agreement with the Operator.
Acceptance
By accessing or using LLM Council ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Use of the service
You may use LLM Council for lawful purposes only. You agree not to use the Service to generate content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, or that violates the terms of the underlying AI providers whose APIs you connect. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with all applicable laws and the terms of service of any API keys you provide.
BYOK — API keys and provider costs
LLM Council operates on a Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) model. When you provide API keys via the Settings page, you are solely responsible for any costs those keys incur with your chosen provider. LLM Council passes your encrypted key to the provider to fulfil your request and does not mark up provider costs. Keep your keys secure and do not share them with others.
API key security
Your API keys are encrypted with AES-256 before storage. They are never logged in plaintext, never shared with parties other than your chosen LLM provider, and are discarded from memory immediately after each request. For full technical details, see our Security page.
Accounts
You must provide accurate information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at support@llmcouncil.online if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
Intellectual property
LLM Council and its original content (excluding user-generated content and AI model outputs) are the property of the Operator. Model-generated responses are subject to the terms and licences of the underlying model providers whose APIs you have connected.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any AI model output. Use model responses at your own discretion and do not rely on them for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions without independent verification.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or costs incurred with third-party AI providers.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the jurisdiction in which the Operator is based.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
